I read your post and felt the usual pang of emotion, hearing of the desparation you guys reach. But when you mentioned your daughter, that is something I can totally relate to. Explain to her about clusterheadaches when you're not being attacked. Tell her what she should do for you, be it get busy with a colouring book in her room, bring you some ice, water, whatever, or that Daddy just needs to be alone to fight the pain sometimes. It will help her immensly to understand as much as she can about CH. And, trust me on this one, it really helps us supporters to think we are helping in some tiny little way. Even if that does just mean being quiet and leaving you alone while you're under attack.
Tell your daughter there are other folks out here, kids too, who have family who hurts like this. We understand how scary it is for the supporters too.
