I have been an episodic cluster sufferer for over 10 years. My most recent episode started mid-October and I went to a neurologist who prescribed a medicine called Sansert. I take a 2 mg tablet four times daily and have not experienced one attack since. Other medications such as Imitrix and Depakote have been prescribed to me in the past and do not work for me any better than 3 or 4 extra strength Tylenols. A month's supply of Sansert costs close to $300 dollars. On Thanksgiving Day, I thought of all of the great things in life I have to be thankful for...my health, my family, finding a good neurologist, medical insurance co-pays of $20 dollars and of course SANSERT!
