Today was my first day back to work in over 3 weeks, only went half-day though. I'd noticed my supervisor and manager have both been very understanding when I've spoken to them on the phone throughout this ordeal. It wasn't until today that another manager in my department told me that she used to work as a nurse in the ER and saw first-hand the effects of CH on sufferers. It seems that she had given the management staff an education on this illness, and even let them know that this is the worst pain known. One of my co-workers is a chronic CH sufferer and also has migraines who could also give information. Out of this hell I've been thru and will continue to deal with thru the duration of the cycle, more people have a better understanding of what we are dealing with. Even some of my other co-workers have asked in-depth questions about CH, genuinely interested in its cause and how to find a cure. A LOT of people have now heard of this site and hopefully will come to learn more.
