After listening to my Dad's symptoms, searching the internet and looking at this site, I am positive my Dad gets cluster headaches. He has been to doctors in the past who have given him all of the tests to check for various problems. None of them have ever figured out he has cluster headaches. Last year when they got so bad he thought he would go mad, I convinced him to see a doctor for help. He explained his problem and asked about medicine to help the pain and help prevent the attacks. The doctor gave him a bottle of Excedrin and charged him $85. Since then, he will not go to the doctor. Doctors do not seem to understand what his problem is and how terrible the pain is. He is willing to go to a doctor if they are knowledgable about cluster headaches. He is not willing to go through billions of tests because he has already had them all done.
Does anyone know of a doctor in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area that has patients or exposure to cluster headaches? PLease help me. My dad needs help so badly and does not have health insurance. Each visit costs him so much money and this is why I need to find a doctor who will listen to him.
