After 24 years of episodic cluster, I may be going chronic.
Instead of my usual 6-week cycle, I've had one continue cycle since September with a slight remission in November and a holiday season of hell. I've used just about everything, and have been fortunate recently to have the help of an exceptional headache specialist.
I need to hear from lithium users. I started on it in January (900 mg daily), am now on 300 mg; have mild early A.M. attacks, last night my first, more severe REM attack (hour after falling asleep).
So, doc will probably up my daily dosage. How is it living on lithium over months or years???
