Hi Dave,

The best interpretation I've found is that when my neck tenses up, my ear rings, and the pain hasn't hit yet, I'm in the Shadow of the Beast!! He's near but not quite here....

When I've got a cycle under control with verapamil, or lithium, or sansert, I still get the shadows at the same times of day that the attacks would come. You described yours well!
