But really, it's hard to be sorry for that over which we have no control. If you'd have missed the play to get wasted -or something- then you'd be in a position to be sorry. You wouldn't need to be sorry if you had a heart attack, or got broadsided on the way, or something. I know....I also have times when I feel guilty for missing out on family activities, but I really can't help it.
I'm really sorry it's been so damn tough for you lately. Not sorry in the apologetic sense, but sorry in the empathetic sense. Hang on.
