Bob, I followed what you said and saw the illustration. That's one heck of a nerve! Easy to see how pain from that nerve could be mistaken for tooth pain.

But I wonder why dentists haven't been given a heads-up on this??? One would think that their associations, the overseers of their profession, would warn them that the pain their patients are feeling in those areas of the head just might be from CH, not from the teeth. It's terrible that people in so much pain from CH may be subjected to more, unnecessary pain.

I wonder how much earlier some CH sufferers might have gotten treatment for their real problem if their dentists were aware of CH. It's so sad because it would only take a bit of education and awareness on the dentists' part to make a big difference.
