Steve, when my husband is in a bad period, he can do up to 4 imitrex nasal sprays and sometimes even more. I'm not sure of the milligrams but he is not supposed to do more than two in a 24 hour period. I'm not sure what to tell you or him. I'm just really scared for you, him and others in the same situation. How can you tell someone who is in tremendous pain, no you can't have anymore medicine to stop the pain. I think we are all in a frightening situation
