Yes, maybe it was a wolf in sheep's clothing, but let's not lose sight of the big picture and common goals here.
"Nathan's" story could so easily be true. Any one of us could have posted a similar story here that WAS true. THAT's what got to me. And how will we know how many people HAVE committed suicide? They can't post to tell us, can they? There have sure been some folks who used to post here that no one can find anymore. The old timers will remember Doc Jerry (the water treatment guy), Yuko, Jonathan..the list goes on. I think the numbers could be higher than we think and, although Nathan could be fictional, it's not unbelievable that folks do sometimes hit the wall. It's our choice what we do with this. Do we get mad and go on about the abuse of the msg board? Or do we capitalize on the publicity it could bring to CH?
