I sat here tonight and read your post and understand your flustration.You are a supporter as a am.This is a very hard to watch the person you love so much go through so much pain and not be able to controll it.You can take refuge in knowing that there are some great people here.There may be contraversal discussions on diagnosis or symptoms but this is a family .This is a great place of information and understanding.My heart goes out to you and your son .My arms are open with a great big hug for both of you.My wife is 38 yrs old and has suffered with ch for 22yrs and was misdiagnosed for many years.She is eposonic and has found some relief with imatrex injections during her cycle.Her cycle last for 6-8 weeks with the last one lasting 11weeks .This site is the most valueable resource for us .How long of a break does your son get at a time .We call these pain free days .Ive have found that reading post to my wife when she is pain free is helpful.It makes her feel shes not alone .She thought for a long time she was the only one.You will find that you will find out more info on this site than you can with 100 visits to any doctor.I found myself taking in stacks of info and actually educating the doctors.Alot of the time you tell them you have ch and they look at you like your speaking some foreign language.The act of your son beating his head and punching walls is a normal reaction with someone with ch.Is his pain usually on one side and does go into his eye.Ok im rambling Just want to say your not crazy for posting .This is a place of some great people with alot to offer ktssu .Keep the sunny side up!Tell your son me and mine are there for him.
