I haven't tried yet but told my wife that if I had any more 4-6 hour deals like I have had twice this cycle that I was gonna try the "shrooms". But seems like the Prednisone is working to knock out the cycle. Not too bad yesterday and woke up pain free this morning for first time in a while. Don't know what all your meds are but maybe try something like Prednisone to stop cycle instead of just trying to stop pain. If you try the shrooms I sure would like to know the results though.
