I've been suffering these things too for 13 years.
My wife understands and is very supportive. But I worry about my four kids ages 2, 6, 9, and 11. How many times I have to tell them "No, we can't do this"... "no we can't do that"... "maybe next weekend"... "I'm sorry I promised you ____, maybe this week". How many times do they have to hear the same thing until they don't understand anymore?
I too am afraid to even go someplace or do some activity sometimes. I know from the pattern of my CH attacks that it will happen while we are there... and dread having to have a CH when my family and the rest of the world is watching... not a pretty sight for sure.
