I am also episodic and take verapamil. I just went on it in Dec. My neuro said it is a great preventative for CH cycles. You have to taper on because it is a blood pressure med. One of the biggest problems with verpamil is underdosing. 480mg per day is supposed to be the right number, but people have success with lower doses. You have to find what works for you. I haven't tried the other meds. Good luck
