I have had cluster for 19 years. I've worked day shift until 3 years ago. I had to change jobs and went to a 3rd shift job. The change definately made a difference for me. I think it confused the beast. When working days, I went into deep sleeps at night. Working nights I do not get into a deep sleep. Very light sleeper now. My worst attacks hit me in the middle of deep sleep. It was very hard for me to abort the cluster attack when it woke me from a deep sleep. Usually just had to ride it out. The beast tries to attack me at night yet but I get to the o2 quickly and have managed to abort the majority of those attacks. I believe that my shadows are much stronger but the attack seems weaker. My cycle also last much longer. So for me it has been a mixed bag. I would check into oxygen, codein doesn't cut it for me but I hope you are getting the releif you need.
best wishes
