Margaret,
My mother died 18 months ago, and I am only just climbing out of the dark hole I fell into. She had respiratory problems as well as bone cancer.
The loss of somebody close seems to diminish us for a while and douse our personal lights. Being on this board has helped me to put the flame back into the candle.
I hope you will find the support you need.
