I received a call Sunday evening informing me of the death of a dear, much loved friend. It was very sudden, he was diagnosed the previous week with cancer.
I had been friends with him, his wife, daughter, & sister for many years. We have been as close as family & we also share many mutual friends.
I'm making myself remember he was so ill he would not have had a pain free day, because the cancer was even in his bones.
Still, it's like a cloud over me. I don't like the world as much today as I did last week!
On a brighter note, I did sleep all night last night and have been painfree today. I am thankful for that!
I hope my CH family is as well as a CH family can be.
To those who are in pain..I'm sorry.
To those who are painfree, enjoy it while it lasts!
Hopefully, someday, we will all be painfree!
