My clusters generally last about three hours each and have been known to hit me several times a day - as many as 6 times in one day, actually.
I have had migraines since I was very young. The ch appeared at age 21. Now I am blessed with both. I have seen a few others with the same blessing (ha ha) on this board.
I have no idea about the O2.
I always seem to get my headaches AFTER a period of stress, like after a really bad week at work, I will get hit on Saturday. It is possible I guess, for you to be experiencing the same let-down kind of headache pattern which would explain the beast showing up on the weekends. Another possibility is that you may be instigating more attacks on the weekend by drinking, sleeping in late, etc.
I hope this helps a little at least. One last thing - you should know that aren't alone in this pain. As you can see, there are many people who care and who are experiencing similar things with their ch. Granted, we may all be freaks, but at least we are freaks together. :) Keep us posted as to your progress and let us know how your appointment goes on Friday.
