The "XXXXX for Dummies" or "Idiots Guide to XXXXX" series of books, if one exists. I know Excel but to write it here or in an email would be a text book. You may also consider using Access (just love these Windows(TM)programs--no MACS there...) as the database for the data and import what you need into Excel since Excel is a mathmatical (sort of) program. The two programs "talk" to each other for stuff just like this, assuming you have MS Office 97 or Higher. All depends on how complex you want to make it and then how much time you have to learn it. I do it on the fly but sometimes my learing curve is quite high. Did I answer your question??? --Tom--
