I've heard this sort of thing before with the injections, but the only thing I don't get is why would a junkie want Imitrex? There is no "high" whatsoever. I guess the thinking is that since it kills pain, its a pain killer. How F#&*%&@ Stupid!
I do know what you mean, Pam, I've sat in an emergency room chair in the waiting room for two hours on three seperate occasions, only to have the attack subside, and get up and walk out. One doc tried to keep me there, and damn near got knocked out because of my frustration. That type of treatment is insulting, degrading, and inexcusable. On behalf of decent people everywhere, sorry you and your father went through that. I guess he got his Medical license at KMart. Makes me sick!
