I agree with that. I wonder if any doctor has been knocked out by a patient.??? in another incident my dad was hospitilized for prostrate trouble ,small community hospital.on top of having his headaches. and some older nurse refused to give him his shot of demerol. it was time for him to have it. I looked at her and said lady the doctor has ordered that he has this med every x ammount of hours and if you dont quit letting him lay they curled up like a baby in pain.im gunna get him up out of bed and take him to another hospital where they know what the hell there doing.i could have boxed her cheeks right off her crow face. needless to say ,she finally went and got his medicine. i think that she would have let him suffer if i hadnt been so persistent. IT pissed me off! i would fight someone til the end ,rather than sit back and watch someone mistreat a person with chronic pain -when a person is in pain like this they are pretty much helpless.
