Wow, I never heard of a legit doc limiting imitrex below the max allowed. Have had several conversation with my physician regarding narcotics...but that a whole different story.
I wonder what kind of reimbursement arrangement your physician has with the insurance plan. Would bet anything there's a cost incentive (including drugs)for your doc to limit utilization.
