Hi to all cluster sufferers. I just found this board and until now thought I was the only one that suffered this horrible affliction. Have been dx with clusters for 6 years. Seems that this time of year if my worse, although If I go a week or two without a headache it is like winning the lotto. Right now I have had constant pain (almost) for about a month. I am on my second pack of does-pak. Since the beginning I have been on the following drugs, only to work for awhile and quit: Calcium channel blockers, Anti-seisure med, imtrex shot and pill, fiorinal, darvocet, vicoden, beta blockers and am currently on nortriptiline(sp). The other night the pain was so bad, I thought I was going to die (I'm not kidding). Nothing helped. Anyway, I have an appointment with neuro on Monday to reevaluate my situation and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. I am so tired of taking drugs. I used to enjoy going out with friend for a couple of drinks, not anymore. My husband doesn't understand me having headached almost every day as he never has any. I want to go to the doctor with plenty of info. Thanks so much.
