hi donna,
don't be distonished - there are sufferers all over the world - also in austria/europe, where I live. now I suffer since two and a half years - nothing could help me, since the beginning of april. a new neuro gave me a bottle of oxygen which takes the pain in a few minutes away from me (appr.5-10 minutes at 6l/min) and also nimotop which is taken for prevention - this tablets are for aged people to help the circulation in their brain. an essential point in ch might be the triggers - any case - you have to take care on yr. food, yr. drinks - alcoholica and also opulent meals always force a ch-attack by me. but now I don't drink alcohol - (perhaps 1 beer a week) and I try to cook easy meals with little or without meat and the attackes reduced from 2 times daily to 1 one a week - this is much more better than 3 months ago. in the case I'm not at home - near my oxygen and I get ch, I take an aspro, which is a very litht headache drug and is free available in the pharmacy - I have to take two of them at the first signs of an attack and it stops after 10 to 15 minutes.
pls. excuse my bad english - but it's not my mother tongue an in austria we speek german. I hope to have given you some hints - and don't worry - you are not allone - evereybody who is suffered from this affliction is seeking for cure - and the time will come to find out where ch comes from and how to heal it.

good luck and painfree times

boernie
