Occipital Neuralgia Help! Help!

My mom's latest diagnosis is occipital neuralgia. Does anyone have any suggestions for pain relief? She has slight relief from taking anti-inflamatories. Is there anything else she can try. she is in pain 24 hours a day 365 days a year, in varying degees. Does oxygen work for these type of headaches. Her pain is always on the back left side of her head.

Please HELP!
