allievated in this manner? I wonder if when blood is drawn, our body redirects blood to the perceived "wound" and thereby away from the vessel in the head which can ease the pain. Still when you give yourself shots, I guess this doesn't happpen. Maybe the blood loss is the answer? Just a thought, and interesting!
