I have TMJ, too, but I know it is not connected to my clusters. My dentist gave me a list of things to help head off serious problems. Mainly it is commonsense stuff: don't open your jaw too wide so that it hurts; don't sleep on your face because it puts it "out of joint"; don't eat hard chewy things like french bread or pizza, etc. But you know what hurts me the most? Having to open my mouth wide for the dentist. I think that I have kept any problems at bay but I think I do get some headaches from it but ibuprofen works nicely.

I have heard that some resort to surgery but I have also read articles about the jaw replacements being made out out of the same stuff the breast implants were andthat they can disintegrate. I also heard of physical therapy for it which seemed to work!
