Is constricting your blood vessels. It's one of the ergotamines. Isn't ergomar the little tab that disolves under your tongue. I've used this form, the cafergot tablets and the inhaler. The stuff works well but there are side effects if you take too much. Mainly the vessels in your extremities will shut down (ergotism) resulting in gangreene. So make sure your finger and toe nails stay nice and pink.
Trivia - the gangrenous form of ergotism is also called St. Anthony's Fire. St. Anthony being the patron saint of ergot users.
