Be aware that withdrawal symptoms can be pretty nasty, and trying to quit may trigger a headache (or even a few). If you want to find out if cigarettes are a trigger or not, you may have to quit, and then stay off them for a few months to see if the headaches go away.

Smoking may or may not be a trigger; alcohol isn't a trigger for me, even though it seems to affect just about everyone else on the board, so I think it's safe to say that smoking might affect you. It certainly changes the chemistry of your brain and body pretty radically, so it's worth a try.
