Hello. I have had cluster headaches for about two years and have been diagnosed for six months. I have tried cafergot, propranolol and amitriptiline. I am trying to wean off the preventative medications as I still experience breakthrough headaches, therefore they have not been terribly helpful. I am intereested in alternative therapies and have had several acupuncture treatments, which I believe are helping. I am interested in homeopathy and biofeedback and wonder if others have had any success with these treatments. I am glad I have discovered this website, particularly when I hear others using terminology and phrases like "luking, looming, hot pokers through eyes," which are the same words I have used to describe my pain. It is reassuring knowing that I am not imagining these things. Good luck to all.
