I had VIRAL spinal meningitis last year(JUNE 2000) and those are the type of head aches I get. Back of the head last for days etc. Can you remember having an illness anytime in the past 6-9 months? Have the spinal tap I was afraid too but meningitis can be serious. Im still recooperating from it. You could also have a type of meningitis that is associated to mono. You can email me if you think Im ON about this one I'd like to help. I had residual headaches and side effects due to inflamation in my spine and brain (scarey) stuff.
