I also never get far from the ibuprophen bottle. In or out of a cluster. When I don't have CH, I cluster every other year for 8-10 weeks, I'm fighting tension headaches and sinus headaches. To me they are all different animals. Tension in back of neck/head and on side of head. Sinus from to many cigars or a long ride on the Harley with the wind in my face. These dudes hurt worse than tensions. CH!!!!!! No comparison. No comparison to any other form of pain. CH is top of the list. I get the shadows during a cluster. It's a hangin' around pain to make you remember what the side of your head has just been through and make you uneasy about when the next one will hit. I've through with my last bout for about 7 weeks. No shadows left. I'm now back to the sinus HAs.
