first:
THANK YOU for responsibly bringing up another aspect possibility of CH - THAT is how we're gonna get somewhere - put ANYTHING that is vaguely possible on the table & bat it around

as far as NMONM goes

CBAK FOF UOY AJKCSSA !!!!!

Ok - back to the idea on the table,
my take:
1.
that "inner child" business is very popular, but not a "real" phenomoena of sufficient staure to use in building a proposed natural history of anything
my own OPINION is that it is merely one of the foundations of the current, extremely trendy "victimology" craze; sort of a psychology parallel to chiropractry (THAT oughta stir 'em up, eh ?)
saw a great bumper sticker last fall:
"Find Your Inner Child + Strangle The Whiny Little Bastard"

works for me

that said (and, yes I do feel better now, thanks)
there may very well be a pronounced "response/reactive" cause for CH - BUT most late research is cohesively leading toward an environmental trigger of some sort - rather than internal generation

one of the interesting progressions from the notion that there are MANY triggers for CH is that in fact NONE of those things are triggers - but are coincidental
the migraine model has been used so long for CH that it is sometimes hard to separate "conventioal wisdoms" from hard evidence; it is a very common thing for people to find exactly what they're looking for if they go in with preconceived notions, and much of the CH "knowledge" was obtained with a very strong migraine-centric bias in the investigator -

as far as the psychology of it all goes -
I feel it's more apt to turn out to be a sociology issue, with a lot of parallel factors, instead of a direct lineal cause progression

sumpin ta thunk aboot

later, gg
