Cathy is right. See a neurologist. The alcohol thing that you mentioned is suspect of clusters. But sleep? You say you have the headache until you fall asleep. I can only speak for myself, but sleep during a cluster headache is way more than impossible. These things wake me up out of a sound sleep. Good luck to you and do see a neurologist soon!
