Why all of a sudden?

I'm new here to the site and I don't know how all this works, but I'll just throw this out there.
I have had episodic CH (previously diagnosed as migraine) since I was 17. The headaches would be about once a week to as little as once a month.
A month ago I started having 3 a day and within a week it was 6 or 7 per day. I haven't had any trauma. My neuro diagnosed CH and gave me prednisone and Maxalt.
The Maxalt usually works within a half hour if I can take it in time. If not, I'm pretty much done for 2-3 hours. I'm taking 2 to 3 Maxalt a day as needed now.
Is this my life now?
