There is no treatment described on this board, or anywhere else, for that matter, with a higher succes rate than sub-hallucinogenic doses of either psilocybin (magic mushrooms) or LSD.
In the U.K., possession of fresh psilocybin mushrooms in small quantities is not illegal, although possession of dried specimens apparently is. Flash could fill you in on the details better than I could.
Although there have been many posts detailing success with this treatment, I ususally send people to Stavi's post as a starting point, simply because it is so well written and there are a number of interesting followup posts associated with it. If you go to the message archives for the same week as her post, you will find several other threads with more information. Post number 57757, just a few messages before her post, has some information about a proposed clinical study.
