I need some advice on 02 usage.

I have a tank, mask, and a valve that delivers up to 8 liters per min. I have another valve ordered that will do 10 liters that should be in soon. My question is, how do I breathe the oxygen? Deep heavy breathing or normal breathing. I know there are some post somewhere down the board, but they got wiped out by the "Rocky" stuff. Thanks for any advice.
