The bottom line with viruses is htat you should never open anything with a double extension - -i.e. exe.vbs or anything with vbs.

THe easiest thing to do is that when you get an email with an attachment, save it to your desktop (right click on it) then right click on the icon for the file -- and scan it. Most of the time, your secrutiy system will not allow you to save it if it is a virus. It will stop you. But if it does not then you can right click o nthe icon and scan it with McAfee or Norton.
