We moved into a new house on the weekend, which of course entailed moving the dog and the cat. Dog was fine - he's cool about the new house. Moxie, the cat, however, HATES car rides and wasn't at all impressed with being plucked from her old house where she had just had a nice pleasant roll in the dirt in the back yard. She is jet black, but had now taken on quite a grey colour because of the roll.
Upon arriving at the new house, she immediately found a safe place behind a cabinet in front of the heat vent. She proceeded to complete her pouting there for awhile. Our 19 yr old daughter later found her and picked her up and, with a very concerned look on her face announced, "Mum, I think you guys better get this furnace cleaned in this house. I found Moxie in front of the heat vent. Look at how dirty it's made her!!!"
Now, just how dirty can a furnace BE to do THAT to a cat?
