Hello from headache hell.....LOL.....God, at least I can still laugh! I think this is my second round of CHs. 18 mos ago I had this last for 23 days...did the Imitrex, chiropracter and pain meds. After living in my basement family room for weeks- and hearing my daughter say "I want my Mom back".....it went away. (MUCH TO MY DELIGHT) A few months later when I could finally get to the neuro, he said because I have neurological side effects (numbness in my face), I can't take the typical migrine meds (tryptos, I think). So, I take Excedrin like it's going out of style! Now, the monster is back, and even though I thought it was migraine, I remembered that my family physician said something about "clustering", so when I ran across that word in my online search for what to do...I read further. Yes, I wake up nightly....yes, they are on one side, usually temple/eye area, and yes, I feel relief in a couple hours, but in a few more hours, they are back! I at least know I'm not losing my mind, although, my job in a public school might be at risk. HELP!!
