I had no clue what was wrong. I think maybe I said too much like I thought it was a bad sinus headache or something and 20 seconds later left with a script for antibiotics. I never dreamed it would become a life long disorder and neither did my Doc. I do remember that each time he gave me something that did not work, I had a growing fear that this was the way I would have to live the rest of my life. A life with no relief from the pain. That fear dominates my memory of Clusters ... The early years.
