Hi all. Currently in episode since Mar 26. Neuro put me on Dexamethason (Dexadron) and Norvasc to try to kill the beast in its tracks. Dexadron has made me highly agitated After only four days of steroid therapy they are returning with a vengance. Understanding this my Neuro has started the taper off early. If you plan to pursue steroid therapy please ask your Doc a million questions. There are many many varieties available. In several past years My G.P. has used Prednisone which had tolerable side effects and put the beast at bay for up to 8 days before its return. Am using no narcotics yet this episode to try and avoid rebounds. Would like to try DJ's imitrex x 2 tip but am often too shaky by the time I need injection. Have daytime attacks too so I try to save imitrex ration till then as I need to make my best attempt to keep my business functioning and my family together . White knuckling night time attacks with my head in the freezer if it gets there before the floor. Alas a positive side effect!! with insomnia that goes on despite single and double doses of Ambien, I have been doing lots of headache art in wee hours and will post some soon. Thank you for listening. Steve Prosser
