i started with verapamil, with no relief. then added depakote along with it and things became bearable. however when i saw a new neurologist he said he wanted me to wean off the verapamil since then i came across a very small article in time mag. it listed a few ups and downs in medicine. one of the downs was that calcium channel blockers have been found to cause cancer. is verapamil a calcium channel blocker?
