Qualitest makes very good Amitriptylene, but I got some from Walgreens that is labeled Schein, this stuff was next to worthless, super dry mouth, super burning stomach, and practically no CH relief, the stuff is pure crap and this damn company invaded my K-Mart pharmacy as well, my sone had the same problem with Schein products with his many Crohn's medication. I talked about this with my K-mart pharmacist and he, a good friend, said he has no control on which brand their purchasing agents send to him and I don't mind in the least bad mouthing a product that has been consistently bad, generics are supposed to be the same as other generics and equal to name brand, not so with Schein, bad enough being ill, terrible to get crap at the pharmacy that doesn't help at all, Schein also makes the poorest prednisone I have ever used, the price of Deltasone, the name brand is only a couple of cents more, amitriptylene is dirt cheap and it may pay to get the name brand version.
