Nick:

I was taking amitriptilyne since 1996 to 2 weeks ago. When the cluster go away i didn't take it but always I was very worried because I thought it was generating dependence from it.

Recently, a doctor( no neuro) told me that it was not necessary to take that drug and one day when i haven't I didn't take and then I decided don't take any more.

Actually I am taking diclofenac only( and o2 during the crissis) and after 2 weeks I can sleep very well( and I am a big sleeper).
I had the same syntoms than you and I read some time ago that this drug hurts tooth( or teeth, excuse my english)
Ah... and the beast I am the same that 2 weeks ago: The remission don't want to arrive. The beast visits me each 8 or 9 days, 2 or 3 crisis per night ( 4 months on cycle)

Love Dania
