I know a bit about the background of your shrooms now. They are indeed an hallucinogenic species. There is one slight problem that may have weakened them... I believe that they were originally frozen before being sent out to you. Although it is OK to freeze shrooms, you must consume them immediatley after defrosting. The water released during defrosting will contain a significant quantity of the psilocybin. So frozen shrooms must go straight into the pot. Obviously this was not an option for you Jeff, since they must have been defrosted prior to being sent out to you.

I think this may also explain why Carl's shrooms were weaker than anticipated??? Am I right?

While it is OK to preserve shrooms by freezing, they cannot be defrosted and passed on afterwards. If there is any intention to share a harvest they they must either be dried or preserved in honey. Preserving them in honey will mean that over time the psilocybin will leak into the honey, but this takes week and weeks to happen.
