Just about the saddest story I have ever read and too close to home.

My daughter was under psychiatric care and constant counseling, I felt guilty for letting her mother verbally abusing her all those years, but she was doing fine, finished high school and enjoying college, we had a weekly date of seeing plays and musical groups at the university.

One night with a bad headache, I was looking in my medicine cabinet and noticed an old bottle of powerful pain killers opened, that was from my accident, should have pitched them, but ran to her room, she was out like a light, moved her around and got my son to help me take her to emergency where her stomach was pumped. I would have never dreamed she would have pulled something like that without any warning or cries for help, I was in an absolute state of shock and tears, but she pulled through okay. The state took over and now she is in a group therapy home hopefully unto her way to recovery. The thing is, you just don’t know things like this can happen, I was very fortunate to look in my medicine cabinet, otherwise would have gone to bed and found her dead the next morning, gosh George, I feel for you and the pain, and I feel for the pain that your wife went through, many of us have felt very alone with no hope while suffering the severe pain of headaches, but must be so few of us, that our cries for help are not heard. You and your wife are in my prayers. Nick.
