The way you describe it, it does not sound like typical clusters, but then again, clusters are often not typical at all.
Have you done the cluster quiz? Try that button on the left and see how you relate.
Have you kept a day to day record of how much pain, how it changes, at what times it recedes, if only a little?
Such a record may go a long way to convince doctors that you are serious instead of nuts!
Print out all the medical information you find under the buttons on the top left, and take all that stuff with you to the doc, next appointment.
And if you are doubtful about your doctor/neurologist understanding your horrible head pains, go to the OUCH site (again, button on the left of this message board) and check the doctors listing; there just might be a knowledgeable doc in your neighbourhood.
