so the doc start off by injection novacane up my nose,now that is a painful shot, he cut the cartilage and tried to recenter it as my left nostril was larger than my right, and my CH's were mostly right sided, packed my nose and bandaged it, that was the longest week of my life, he also said he cut some nerve endings. I couldn't lift anything over 20 pounds for 8 weeks afterwards, never knew a nose had so much effect on other body parts. I don't know if surgery has improved any in the last 18 years, but all that hell of the surgery didn't make a damn bit of difference and I believed it made my headaches worse, took over a year to get back to normal, so I am skeptical, stay in good shape, avoid triggers, minimum meds, a tad of O2 now and then works best for me. I still don't think no one reallys knows what these headaches are all about and you cannot reverse a knife.
