When I was little we lived near the Charles River
and there was a sidewalk that wasnt paved on the way home from school, it had weeds growing about a foot or so on each side of the sidewalk. There were grasshoppers that would jump back and forth if you walked on that walk way . I was horrified, I had to run through them every day. My aunt was dating a town selectman and I was just a little kid about 7or 8 years old, I remember taking him over to that weedy place to show him the grasshoppers. It was the biggest problem in my life back then and I wanted them eliminated. Well he was "the Godfather" for me that day and I dont know how he did it but over the next few weeks they paved that sidewalk. No more weeds and them grasshoppers had to find a new residence. When I visit my parents I still think about those grasshoppers jumping all over me as I ran through horrified... Im with you Jackie... YUK (but Chuck you definately win!)
